The Pet Friendly Care Home of the Year Award 2009
Judging took place in July 2009 - the contenders were:
| Owls Barn, Lincolnshire Our assessor said “This is how things should be; this should not be out of the ordinary. Owls Barn is very much a family concern and all are loving pet owners. Anyone living here who is an animal lover would be in absolute heaven”. |
Plas Madoc Villa, Wrexham Our assessor said “I cannot rate this home highly enough and was most impressed with the care and consideration afforded to residents and pets”. |
| Sunrise of Chorleywood, Hertfordshire Our assessor said “Luxurious, welcoming and akin to a 5 star hotel, it was lovely to see so many happy pets and residents”. |
The Manor House, Norfolk Our assessor said “I feel this home cannot be faulted in any respect, extremely pet friendly”. |
| The Old Vicarage,
Dorset Our assessor said “I did not want to leave, this home is absolutely faultless. It is a home full of friendliness and warmth and very much a home from home”. |
Church Farm Residential Home, West Sussex Our assessor said “My overall impression of this home was excellent and I felt that all pets would be extremely well looked after and nothing would be too much trouble to them”. |

| August 29th | Horley & District Companion Dog Show | 1.00pm onwards | Horley & District Companion Dog Show, Horley, Surrey - Dog show and stalls, including a Cinnamon Trust stall. |
| August 30th | Lions Club Fun Day | 12.00pm - 4.00pm | Lions Club Fun Day, Baytree Recreation Ground, Wilton, Somerset BS22 8HQ - including a Cinnamon Trust stall. |
